In September 2009, YOUROPE co-promoted the second seminar for 'Sustainable Management' at Bucks New University in cooperation with agreenerfestival.com, Julie's Bicycle and Theresa Moore from Bucks New University.

A wide range of speakers from the events industry, discussed issues such as transport and travel, CO2 measurement, waste management solutions,  legislation, environmental policy and standards and long term planning. The next seminar will be held in February 2011.

"The seminars have now become an ideas and information hub for the festival and event industry. By bringing together event organisers and environmental managers from across Europe and further afield current practice can be shared and new ideas and strategies developed." says Teresa Moore, Bucks New University.
