Wolfmother cancel UK festival dates

The pull Download, T In The Park due to 'medical reasons'

Wolfmother have been forced to cancel their appearances at Download Festival and T In The Park, organisers have announced.

A press release from Download organisers confirmed that the group won’t be appearing due to medical reasons.

The statement read: “We’ve just had a message from the team at the Wolfmother camp, who have been in touch with us to tell us that with great reluctance the band are going to have to pull out of this year’s Download Festival. ??“One of the band is unfortunately sick, and won’t be able to fly out to Donington for their performance on Friday 11 June.”

Killswitch Engage will step in to replace them at the rock and heavy metal event.

They have also pulled their T In The Park appearance in July but there has been no news of a replacement.
