Ticket Trout: festivals with extreme sports attached
I've come into a ship load of tickets for festivals that have plenty of extreme sports attached, so dive right in and lemme know if you fancy any of 'em...
Right, what you wanna do is get your fins on a Rentless NASS pass. Chase And Status and Bowling For Soup will be making big splashes at the event, but that ain’t all, they’ll have the World Cup skateboard competition as well as the brand new Euro BMX series. Don’t flounder over the decision; you’re going to be herring a lot about it. Nice one, just £70 for the weekend with camping.

Alwight mate, this one is bound to get everyone else at the watering hole jealous. Wakestock 2010, okay, takes place at Cardigan Bay and it takes all the extreme sports into the water – just the way it should be. They’ve got wakeboarding mainly, as the name suggests, with Eric Prydz, Maximo Park and The Ting Tings heading up three stages of music. Worth 95 nicker innit?

You’re after something under a ton right? How about Relentless Boardmasters in Cornwall then? Gallows and Chase And Status will make sure they tickets are all snapper-ed up soon, so act fast. They’ve got surfing, BMXing and skating at the festival as and you’d have to be a right ol’ mudsucker to miss it. Nice one.

Jeez, I’m practically givin’ these ones away. Seriously, I ain’t a shark, these are £35 for the weekend. They’ve got footie, volleyball, surfing, skating – basically more sport than you can shake a spade at. Joshua Radin, Magic Numbers and a bucket load more will shake the sands as well.

If like me, you like things wet and wild, then this newbie on the Isle of Wight is for you. Big Blue Extreme Sports festival does what it says on the tin – plenty of sports both in and out with Newton Faulkner on the top of the bill. Be sure to snap up these tickets fast as they are on sale now for only 20 quid and festival-goers are sure to have a whale of a time.
