Who are the best and worst festival headline replacements ever?

Do Pulp stick in your mind after they rocked the Pyramid Stage in 1995 following the cancellation of the Stone Roses? Were you gutted when Travis closed the main stage at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2005 instead of Morrissey?

Not a show as such but the one that'll always stick out for me was when Metallica replaced their drummer at the 11th hour for their headline show at Download 2004, with a revolving cast of stand-ins from other bands like Joey from Slipknot. Korn did the same thing with their singer a couple of years later but that wasn't a headline show.

I was there, too. Fantastic performance and the very first time Lars had ever missed a show! Luckily Joey is a big fan anyway and knew all the songs. Unforgettable night that was.
