18 new names to play End Of The Road 2010
Slew of acts confirmed for The Local stage

All the acts will plat The Local stage with Caitlin Rose, Duotone, Emily Jane
White, Jonquil and Left With Pictures set to perform alongside Leif Vollebekk,
Les Shelleys: Tom Brosseau And Angela Correa, The London Snorkelling Team, Moddi
and Oh Ruin.
Olof Arnalds, Plants And Animals, Pulled Apart By Horses and Three Trapped Tigers will also perform
over the weekend with Trembling Bells, Singing Adams, Walsh And Pound and
Wolf People set to be showcased as well.
Modest Mouse will headline on the Friday
(10 September) with experimental alternative three-piece Yo La Tengo headlining the Saturday
(11 September) and folk rock troupe Wilco topping the bill on Sunday (12 September).
Also now confirmed for the festival are Freelance Whales, Here We Go Magic, Kath
Bloom, Philip Selway and Smoke Fairies.
Other names on the bill include
The Felice Brothers, Deer Tick, Elliot Brood, Joe Pug
and Dengue Fever.

Tickets are on sale now. Weekend tickets are £130
for adults, £120 for 13-17 year olds, £50 for 6-12 year olds and free for
under 5s.

The Road Festival 2010 is held at the Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset and will run from 10-12
September.
Organisers will also be increasing the size of the 'Tipi Tent' and they will be giving
The Local their own mini Big Top.
The festival will also have an increased program of workshops for both children
and adults, with sessions that carry on longer into the evening.
