Youth Music is giving anyone aged 14-18 years the chance to DJ at the Youth Music Stage at this year’s Underage Festival.

The organisers are looking for the best remix of the track ‘Lips’ by Micachu and the Shapes. Click here to download the song ‘Lips’.

The winning producers will get the opportunity to DJ alongside celebrated artists such as Daisy Dares You, Egyptian Hip Hop and General Fiasco plus loads more.

The winner will also get a VIP backstage pass to hangout the bands and producers.

Similarly, Rock Ness festival bosses are looking for budding DJs to create a 30-minute mix for the chance to close the Bollywood Tent on the Sunday of the event.

A winner will be selected from each regional final, the finalists will then go onto battle it out and the winner will be named Rockness DJ of the Year. Click here to enter the Rock Ness DJ competition.

They will be performing with the likes of Leftfield, Soulwax, Aphex Twin and Annie Mac and the winning set will be put on the festival’s website for fans to download.

The deadline for entries for the Underage Festival competition is 12 July, for the Rock Ness competition it’s 24 May, so get mixing.
