Meshuggah, Desecration for Bloodstock Open Air
As organisers give date for Heaven And Hell's replacement release

The main stage will be dedicated to the late Ronnie James Dio who lost his battle to cancer earlier this
week.
The rock legend was the frontman of many bands including Heaven and Hell who were due headline
the main stage at Bloodstock as one of many festival appearances this year.
The band bill-topping replacement
is to be announced on 14 June with Meshuggah
confirmed as their special guests.
Welsh death metal band Desecration have also been added to
the bill for this mighty metal fest and will appear on the festival’s Sophie Lancaster stage.
Speaking about
their debut at the event the band said: “With Bloodstock fast becoming ‘THE’ UK metal festival for real
metal fans we’re over the moon to be included in this year’s line up.”
Already confirmed
for this August’s festival include Behemoth, Ensiferum, Ross the Boss,
Children of Bodom, Twisted Sister, Fear Factory and Cannibal Corpse.
The festival will also host performances from Enforcer, Benediction,
Killing Machine, Steel Wing and more too.

Bloodstock Open Air 2010 takes place at Catton Hall in Derby from 13-15
August.
