Final acts for Bestival 2010 unveiled
Thursday night's 'Back To The Phuture' bill revealed

They will all appear on the Thursday (9 September) as part of the ‘Back To The Phuture’ line-up,
which will take over the Big Top with La Roux And Dead Guy and Mark Jones both set for DJ
shows.
Uffie, Philip Selway, Caribou and David E. Sugar
have all been confirmed for live shows with Lucky Elephant, Sound Of Rum, Toro Y
Moi and Washed Out announced too.
The Very Best, Visions Of
Trees, Frisky And Mannish, Yuck, Kassidy, O Children
and Think About Life will also appear at the festival in September with help from The Belles Of London
City, Bikini Beach Band, Black Mountain, Secousse Presents: Hackney Empire,
Council Estate Supermodels, Dengue Fever, Dr D Meaker, The Dulwich
Ukulele Club, Lulu And The Lampshades, Naive New Beaters, South Central,
Sunday Girl and Wax Tailor.
More acts set for the decks include acid house DJ
Jon Carter, Justin Robertson, Matthew Hawtin, Trojan Sound System,
Secousse Presents: The Very Best Soundsystem Feat. Radioclit and Agt Rave Cru.
Benji Boko, Bobby Friction, Caius Pawson, Chrome Kids,
Dave Beer, Deano Ferrino, Firas, Gideon Gold, Issac
Ferry, Justine Alderman, Kicks Like A Mule, Krywolf, The
Loose Cannons and Lord Anthony have also been added to the bill with Midfield General,
Pete Gooding, Phat Phil Cooper, Phil Mison, Rachel Barton,
Shepdog, Sink The Pink, Stick It On, The Heatwave and
Yasmin set to play as well.
Rob da Bank took time out from mission control to
say: "Bestival is really gonna get off to a flyer on the Thursday night with our new partnership with Back To The
Phuture, one of the most forward looking backwards respecting nights out there! From the 80s to the 21st century it's
gonna go off. And as ever Bestival is the festival with the most new bands playing from every genre and I'm delighted
that we've got a whole raft of new music from Uffie and Washed Out to Toro y Moi, Philip Selway and The Very Best. Tickets
about to sell out so jump on quick!”
Coach travel and ticket packages from 25 towns and cities from
around the UK have also been announced. Coach-only tickets cost £60 return but this reduces to £55
return when you buy your Coach Ticket in conjunction with a Bestival Ticket.

Today's (Tuesday) confirmations join a bill that already boasts headliners
The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal and The Flaming
Lips as well as Hot Chip, Gil Scott-Heron
and many more.

Following the success of its debut last year, The Afterburner arena is set to grow
and will now include a full live stage. Other new features will include The Castle In The Sky Bonfire Extravaganza
and the brand new Wishing Tree field that will feature the most amazing sculpture garden.
The
Village will also be transformed in to Tomorrow's World envisaging an inspired, sustainable and green and fun future including
a solar powered Bandstand and free solar mobile phone charging and a few regular treats including the Pub, WI Tent and Farmers
Market.
Bestival 2010 will take place at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from
10-12 September.
