Soulfy and comedy acts added to Sonisphere bill

The melodic New York hardcore crew Polar Bear Club are now booked in to perform in front of the Knebworth
crowd as well as Brighton’s Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster who will be making a very welcome appearance.
Other bands joining the line up are Delain, Karnivool, Heaven’s
Basement, Bigelf, Turisas, Katatonia and The Union.
Now in its second year, Sonisphere 2010 is shaping up nicely with an impressive bill featuring Iron Maiden
and Rammstein as headliners and other crowd-pleasers such as Alice Cooper, Slayer,
Motley Crue, Iggy & The Stooges and Gallows.

Meanwhile, the first set of comedy acts have been
announced with highly-rated New Zealand funny man Jarred Christmas named as the comedy compere over the festival’s
three days.
Former Never Mind The Buzzcocks star Sean Hughes will be bringing in the laughs along
with comedian-come-musician-writer extraordinaire Andrew O’Neill and self-proclaimed ‘rock n’
roll nerd’ Tim Minchin.
More comedy acts are set to be announced soon.

Festival 2010 takes place at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire from 30 July to 1
August.
