The Happy Mondays to headline Wizard Festival

Madchester band The Happy Mondays are to headline this year's Wizard Festival.

They are the only act announced so far.

Wizard Festival 2010 will take place at New Deer, Peterhead from 28-29 August.

Tickets are on sale now priced at £70 for the weekend.

The festival will have three stages of music with emerging acts housed in an acoustic tipi. Onsite there will be food stalls, shopping area, a fairground, plenty of campervan space and, so organisers promise, loads of portaloos.
