Cambridge Folk Festival announces line-up
Kris Kristofferson, Seasick Steve more to play

Grammy-award winning, Kris Kristofferson, who
is best known for his hits, ‘Me and Bobby McGee’, ‘Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down’, and ‘Help
Me Make It Through the Night’, will be taking to the stage for his only outdoor UK festival this year.
American
blues musician, Seasick Steve is also due to perform alongside an exclusive performance from Pink
Martini.
Singer-songwriter and ex-member of 10,000 Maniacs, Natalie Merchant, is also
among those who will be making Cambridge Folk Festival 2010 a monumental event.
Others that will
be performing at the festival include American country singer Kathy Mattea, 2008 Mercury Music Prize nominees
The Unthanks, Carolina Chocolate Drops who are a North Carolina based trio, Boban
And Marko Markovic Orchestra, British indie folk-pop band Stornoway, Cambridge duo Adam
Brown and Alan MacLeod and many more.
The festival has said that they will be releasing more names at
a later date.
Festival promoters have advised that those wishing to attend this exceptional event should get their
tickets as soon as possible.
Tickets for the festival are priced at £108 for a weekend
ticket, £37 for Friday ticket, £48 for Saturday ticket and £48
for Sunday ticket.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on 16 May.
Cambridge Folk Festival 2010 will
take place at Cherry Hinton Hill from 29 July to 1 August.
