With 50,000 fans set to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to the man himself in celebration of his remarkable career, it
promises to be a particular highlight of the weekend.
As well as this, it has been revealed that Jamiroquai,
James Morrison and Corrine Bailey Rae will also be performing on the Saturday.
Corrine Bailey Rae, who will be making a much anticipated return this summer after a two year hiatus, said, “I’m
so excited to be playing with Stevie! I have been lucky enough to watch him play from the side of the stage before and
it was amazing. His songs and his voice are so beautiful, it's a real honour to be chosen to support him.”
Hard Rock Calling 2010 takes
place at Hyde Park, London from 25-27 June.
It has already been confirmed that
Pearl Jam will headline the Friday with Paul McCartney bringing the festival to a close
