Fancy dress theme and more comedy for Camp Bestival
Tim Minchin, Rufus Hound and what to get from your dressing up box

23 March 2010
Organisers have revealed the fancy dress theme for 2010, so expect plenty of Cinderella, Dick Whittington and Little Red
Riding Hood characters over the weekend.
Speaking about the choice, organiser Rob da Bank said:
"People power is our number one message at the Bestivals this year from the bands people keep asking for to the fancy
dress theme for Camp Besti being voted for on our forum. Fairy Tales is an ace idea and I can't wait to scare the kids
as Rumpelstiltskin da Bank."
The festival has also revealed a number of comedians set to have fans chuckling
at the Jestival stage. Tim Minchin, Rufus Hound and Carl Donelly will be
tickling ribs alongside Craig Campbell, Papa CJ, Mitch Benn and Rob
Rouse.
Matt Kirshen, Pete Cain and Teirnan Douieb will
also be performing along with Tiffany Stevenson and Tim Fitzhingham.
DJ
Yoda, Calvin Harris, Chipmunk and The Fall are among the musical
delights set to perform over the weekend alongside Mr Scruff, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry
and many more.
