The Hartnoll brothers will bring the arena to a close on the Sunday (27 June) night, marking
the festival’s 40th anniversary with a show that’s likely to include a selection of their biggest hits including
‘Chime’ and ‘Belfast’.
Speaking about their appearance, one half of the group, Paul
Hartnoll, said: ”Getting Orbital
back together was like a second chance at life. Closing the Other Stage at Glastonbury is like coming home for a massive party.”
The group are also due for shows at the Isle of Wight Festival, Guilfest, Glade
and Coachella.
U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder will
headline this year's event with many more to be announced in the coming weeks.
