Alternative rock band Skindred head up some heavy new acts for this year's Slam Dunk Festival.

Alkaline Trio, Against Me, Rolo Tomassi and We are the Ocean have been added to the line-up along with My Passion, Hit the Lights, The Wonder Years and The Audition.

The festival, which this year is set to take place in both Leeds and London, will be headlined by New Found Glory and feature performances from Capdown, Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals and many more.

Tickets are on sale now priced at £25 for either leg of the event.

Slam Dunk Festival South 2010 will take place at the University of Hertfordshire on 29 May before Slam Dunk Festival North 2010 runs at Leeds University on 30 May.

Each leg of the festival will feature seven stages of music with room for 5,000 fans.
