Arcade Fire to headline Rock Werchter 2010

'Neon Bible' group to join Muse, Green Day and Pearl Jam

Rock Werchter organisers have today (Tuesday) confirmed that Arcade Fire will headline this year's festival.

The Canadian outfit will appear alongside such acts as Muse, Faithless, La Roux, Green Day, P!nk, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Florence and The Machine across four days in July.

Four-day passes are on sale now priced at 188 EUR.

Tickets will be available here from 9am Saturday.

For four days, the best present-day acts can be seen and heard on two stages. As always, big names and established acts play the Main Stage, the Pyramid Marquee is reserved for upcoming talent, more intimate acts and dance beats.

80,000 festival-goers are expected to attend from all corners of the world.

Rock Werchter 2010 will take place at Werchter, Belgium from 1-4 July.
