Speaking about the announcement, festival
co-organiser Simon Nicol, lead singer with Fairport Convention, said: "Easy Star All-Stars might
seem a bit left-field for Cropredy but we always put on a very wide range of music to appeal across genres and generations.
Last year, Dreadzone [another dub-reggae band] was the surprise hit of the festival and we are sure All-Stars will be just
as popular with the crowd. And with us, of course - we're big fans too."
Tickets have gone on sale
today (Monday), priced at £85 for a three-day pass if bought before 1 June. Two-day
tickets will set you back £75, while Saturday-only passes are £60.
