The Subways to Headline 2000Trees Festival
Punk rockers The Subways have been announced as the second headline act for this summer's 2000Trees Festival, alongside Frank Turner.
Both acts are set to perform alongside other local and national artists including experimental rock outfit 65daysofstatic, local heroes Jim Lockey And The Solemn Sun, The Dawn Chorus, Chris TT, Roundstone, The Tailors, Ben Marwood and Dan Heaver.
2000Trees organiser Andy Rea believes The Subways bring a rousing edge to this year's even. He said: "I first saw The Subways five years ago and they were fantastic, even though little known back then. Always exciting, energetic and really working the crowd into a frenzy, this is sure to be a superb crowning glory to this year’s 2000trees."
Tickets for the Festival are available now priced £50 for a weekend camping pass while kids under ten go free.
