First acts revealed for Field Day 2010

Grammy winners Phoenix will headline this year's Field Day Festival which returns to London's Victoria Park on Saturday 31 July 2010 with tickets on-sale now.
Also confirmed are: Amiina, Beth Jeans Houghton, Caribou, Chilly Gonzalez, Corsano And Flowers, Gold Panda, Esben And The Witch, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, James Holden, Joker And MC Nomad, Max Tundra, Memory Tapes, Mouse On Mars, Pantha Du Prince and Silver Apples.
Other attractions will include the 'Village Mentality' fete area complete with brass band, tug o' war and sack racing.
Tom Baker of organisers Eat Your Own Ears says: "We are delighted to be back now in our fourth year, incredible how time flies; it seems so long ago that Field Day began. I am really excited to have Phoenix headline, a great live band and a band that will get you dancing and singing... The rest of the bill is really shaping up, there are so many great albums out in 2010, it feels like an exciting time for music..."
