The Futureheads, more for Playaway Festival 2010

The Futureheads are among the latest acts confirmed for the first ever Playaway Festival.

The Sunderband will be joined on the bill by pop group Alphabeat, New Young Pony Club and rising acts Codeine Velvet Club and Beth Jeans Houghton.

Bands announced today will play alongside Calvin Harris, Noisettes and Scouting For Girls, who were confirmed previously.

Organisers say the festival is inspired by a nostalgic trip to the seaside with a twist of contemporary chic.

Passes for the festival come with accommodation for the weekend which sleep two to four, two to five or two to six people.

Prices start at £140 and go up to £170 depending on room space, kitchens and more.
