Eddy T-M, James Priestley, more for new Yeti Festival
Austria | 14 January 2010
Eddy Temple-Morris and James Priestley are among the first acts set to hit the slopes at a new music event, the Yeti Festival.
The five-day bash, which will take place on the slopes of Nassfeld ski resort in Austria, will mix days on the piste for skiers and snowboarders with parties through the night.
DJs Stuart Patterson and The Head Gardener from Secret Garden Party will also be performing alongside Jagz Kooner and Lost And Found DJs.
Other acts confirmed today include Tim Fanucci, Radioproof and Blond Ambition.
Creating all the nonsense and musical mayhem will be some of the most recognisable and influential party and festival brands in the UK, namely The Secret Garden Party, Secretsundaze, The Remix, Lost and Found and East Village as well as some of the hottest DJ talent offered up for your serious dancefloor pleasure.
Professional ‘nonsense facilitators’ Lost and Found will host the après ski parties where you can experience some of the nonsensical festival frivolity that we have come to know and love.
Some of the off-piste shenanigans fans are likely to expect include The Mad Hatters Schnapps Party, Sauna Speed Dating, Pen-Quin Bowling, The Helium Yodelling Ensemble, Binocular Iceball, A Yeti Hunt and many more weird and wonderful surprises.
Yeti Festival 2010 will take Nassfeld in Austria from 5-10 April with ticket prices starting at £399.
Festival-goers can secure a ticket for just £100 and rooms can be booked for two to ten people.
An apology: earlier we incorrectly published that Primal Scream and Reverend and the Makers were set to play Yeti Festival when in fact it is their producer Jagz Kooner. We're sorry for any problems caused.
