LCD Soundsystem, Air for Sonar 2010

The pair will play both Barcelona and A Coruna

Disco pop group LCD Soundsystem and French band Air are the first names confirmed for the Sonar festivals in Spain.

Air will hit Barcelona first (18 June) before moving on to perform in A Coruna (19 June), while LCD Soundsystem will do the reverse.

Spain's famous music, art and multimedia festival, Sonar 2010, will run simultaneously across two cities next year.

For the first time in its history, organisers have confirmed that the event will take place in both Barcelona and A Coruna next June.

Both cities will share a large extent of the line-up which will include acts for Sonar By Day and Sonar By Night.

The new leg of the festival, dubbed Sonar Galica 2010, will be a one-off event with both running from 17-19 June.
