The ‘Empire’ band, who last appeared at the festival in 2007, are set to step up to the main stage but the exact
date is yet to be confirmed.
Speaking about the booking, singer Tom Meighan said: "T
in the Park holds a special place in our hearts, we've always said how much we'd love to headline it and now we are.
We can't wait, we're going to play a blinder and it's going to be massive for us and for the crowd."
No other acts have confirmed as yet, but Muse are strongly rumoured to be appearing at the event
which won Best Toilets at this year’s UK Festival Awards.
Tickets for the
festival are on sale tomorrow at 9am priced at £180 for a weekend camping pass from
Thursday with more prices available.
T In The
Park 2010 meanwhile is set to return to Balado Airfield, Kinross-shire from 9-11 July.
