This is it! Our thoughts on the announcement.
The band, who recently topped an NME chart for the best albums
of the decade for their debut ‘Is This It?’, are set to make it two festivals in a weekend after being announced
for the Isle of Wight Festival on Monday.
Joining them will be Belgium duo 2ManyDJs who will play
on the Saturday in their own arena before performing under their live guise Soulwax
on the Sunday.
Friendly Fires have also
been confirmed alongside Annie Mac and Rob da Bank, who will both have their own arenas to curate over the weekend.
Early
bird weekend camping tickets are available for £100, with festival-goers able to secure a pass with
a deposit of £20 and pay off the remainder of the payment in instalments.
