A limited number of early bird tickets for next year's Electric Picnic festival have gone on sale at a reduced rate this morning (Friday) from 9am.

Adult passes are priced at €199, and those who wish stay in the family camping are advised to apply early.

The discounted offer will run for one week until next Friday (11 December), when the ticket price is set to increase. There are no single day tickets.

Electric Picnic 2010 will take place at Stradbally Hall, County Laois, Ireland from 3-5 September.

The first names for the festival are expected to be announce in early spring.
