More names announced for Big Day Out 2010
Simian Mobile Disco, Jet and Devendra Banhart are among the latest names confirmed for next year's Big Day Out.
Passion Pit, Beenie Man and local favourites Hilltop Hoods will also play the festival, which tours around five Australian cities as well as taking in Auckland, New Zealand.
Decoder Ring, Icth-e And Scratch-e, Maya Jupiter and Miami Horror are set to perform too, along with Mark Dynamix, Sugar Army, Sam La More, The Scare, The Middle East and Wagons.
Today’s announcements join the likes of headliners Muse as well as Kasabian, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Calvin Harris and The Mars Volta who were all confirmed previously.

Passes for the Australian dates have now sold out, however 5,000 tickets will be made available to purchase for each show through an online ticket ballot via the Big Day Out website.

Big Day Out Festival 2010 takes place in Auckland on 15 January, Gold Coast on 17 January, Sydney on 22-23 January, Melbourne on 26 January, Adelaide on 29 January and Perth on 31 January.
