Andy Williams self-confirms for Glastonbury 2010
"Impeccable source" also confirms return of the Leftfield Stage

The 81-year old crooner made the announcement at Cheltenham literature festival to Radio 4’s John Wilson.
"I had asked him if he had any plans to play any more gigs,” said Wilson, “and he said
he had been asked to play at the festival."
2010 will be the 40th anniversary of the event and organiser
Michael Eavis has promised to book “a band from each year of the festival’s history,”
but also admitted that they are trying for the world’s best headliners to top the bill.

news, an “impeccable source” has confirmed that the Leftfield Stage is due to return after it was omitted
from last year’s event.
Glastonbury Festival 2010
will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from 23-27 June.
All the tickets
to the event have sold out, but a limited number of passes are expected to go on sale in the coming weeks due to failed transactions.
