Chemical Brothers confirmed for Creamfields!
United Kingdom | |
07 July 2003
As the Summer
gets hotter and the season a little steamier so Creamfields UK prepare for another unbeatable event. The 'Chems' penchant
for rugged techno and those beloved block rockin' beats have secured their place in the superstar DJ hall of fame. Tom and
Ed will be guaranteed a heroes' welcome, having never failed to pull something special out of the bag, they will be headlining
the Bugged Out Arena. Joining them in the same arena will be the likes of Dave Clarke (his first since '96), UMEK,
Jon Carter, Erol Alkan, Justin Robertson, Tom Middleton and Rob Bright!
In addition to
the Chemical Brothers (DJ Set) we can announce that the Audio Bullys Soundsystem have now been added to the
Subliminal Arena. Tom & Simon have been devastating dancefloors for the last few years, and have made quite a name for themselves
both from the release of their debut album and their eclectic DJ Sets. Their DJ sets are a mixing bowl of mayhem including
the likes of the Kinks and Leftfield, breaking from the norm with a sprinkling of House and Hip Hop.
Joining main
man Rob Da Bank in the Sunday Best Arena and taking us on "an aural odyssey throughout the night" will be Bent,
the perfect compliment to a days cabaret antics and comedy from the Cuban Brothers. A perfect chill out haven for
those weary legs that need a rest and for those who wanna get horizontal in the early hours...
This year being
the fastest selling Creamfields Festival to date, takes place on Saturday 23rd August Bank Holiday weekend at the Old Liverpool
Airfield, Speke Boulevard, Merseyside. Tickets are on sale now in the Virtual
