Glastonbury Festival sells out

All the passes were snapped up in under 24 hours

It hasn't happened for a few years, but Glastonbury Festival once again sold out within 24 hours of going on sale.

All the tickets were snapped up for the event, which is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.

A small number of passes will be available in the coming weeks due to a number of failed transactions and registration has re-opened for those who didn’t manage to register the first time round.

Glastonbury Festival 2010 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset from 23-27 June.
