The programme features a site map, a feed to Rob da Bank’s Twitter to keep up to
date with what the head honcho is up to over the weekend as well as The Soundboard – which features
snippets from da Bank and Beardyman that users can get creative with.
The app will also have The Bestival
Decider on it, which helps users decide what to do over the weekend on the roll of a dice.
Speaking about
the application, Rob da Bank said: "'3,2,1…. blast off! Yes, we're ready to
take Bestival dancing, kicking and screaming into the 21st century technological cyberspace with our own amazing application
for the i-Phone. Check out Beardyman at his best with some of his finest imitations of a major artists, and throw the Bestival
dice to help guide you to what's going down at any given moment."

12 Bestival-goers are also set to start their
swim across the Solent from Gosport to the Isle of Wight today (10 September) to raise money for charity.
Those
taking part will be raising money for the Island Youth Water Sports Centre, Chernobyl Children’s Lifeline and Imibala.
