The blues star will play the Olympia Theatre on 7 November with tickets available from this Wednesday (9 September).

Organisers have also announced two more names for the free festival with Twisted Wheel playing the Masque Theatre on 6 November before improvisation geniuses The Bays do the same on 13 November.

Today’s acts join a bill that already boasts The Specials, Kasabian, The Enemy and Gallows.

Liverpool Music Week 2009 takes place around various venues in Liverpool from 29 October to 28 November.
