Christian is preparing to interview Oasis

It's the day before my show at the Virgin Media V Festival
when I'll be interviewing Noel Gallagher, Snow Patrol and Keane. I've
just made the kids' lunches and now thinking of questions to ask. Noel is a dream to interview - smart, funny and full
of stories. He doesn't take himself too seriously and has the rare knack of answering your questions in almost perfect
soundbites. Last year I interviewed him at Abbey Road when he talked about The Beatles, songwriting and the lairy early days
of Oasis. That and his love of Vicount biscuits This time round I've gone onto twitter (you can follow me the_oc@twitter) to ask people what they would ask him and there are some funny ones already. Including,
can I ask him "the most inappropriate place he has broken wind?". These are my listeners.
I like to do quite a bit of preparation for guests on the show so that I have some reference points throughout the chat
that keeps it flowing. The best scenario is that they relax and it stops being a question and answer and more of a conversation.
That's when it really works but some people just won't play ball and they make it harder for themselves in the end.
They are usually the newer bands who haven't been on the circuit very long!
Wikipedia and Google are calling
me for more homework...
