Festival weather watch: V Festival 2009

One site is set for sun; the other can expect heavy rain

With both legs of V Festival set to kick off tomorrow, we take a look out at the weather forecast for the weekend.

Festival-goers set to check out the likes of Oasis and The Killers at Hylands Park, Chelmsford can expect two days of sunny intervals. Saturday’s (22 August) temperatures will peak at 23C, before rising to 25C on Sunday.

Those heading to Weston Park, Stafffordshire are also set for sunny intervals on Saturday with a high of 20C. On Sunday, however, forecasters are expecting heavy rain for most of the day with highs of 19C.

Although tickets have sold out, Viagogo are offering last minute passes, which can be bought online and picked up at the gate.
