Thousands rally to help Big Green Gathering

Big Chill 2009 and Sunrise 2010 offer ticket swaps

Both festivals are giving disappointed punters the chance to exchange their pre-bought BGG tickets (whether full price or concession) for passes to their respective bashes.

Simply turning up with a BGG 2009 ticket and an extra £20 will get you into the The Big Chill 2009 which takes place from 6 - 9 August at Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire, whilst details for exchanges at Sunrise 2010 are yet to be revealed.

Big Green Gathering was shut down today, just days before it was scheduled to start, after being served an injuction by Mendip authorities.

Citing a failure to obtain necessary road closures as a primary reason for this injuction, Police then admitted that the decision to enforce the measure was political.

Big Green Gathering Festival 2009 was set to take place in Cheddar, Somerset from 29 July to 2 August.
