Two new additions join the August rock weekender

The former will be taking to the main stage at Reading on the Saturday (29 August) before heading to Leeds a day later (30 August).

The XX, meanwhile, will play the Festival Republic Stage, but they are yet to be assigned a day.

Reading Festival 2009 will take place at Little Johns Farm, Reading, while Leeds Festival 2009 is set to be held at Branham Park, Leeds. Both run from 28 - 30 Agust.

Reading tickets have sold out but a few Friday and Saturday passes remain on sale for Leeds priced at £70.
