Bestival 2009 sells out

A capacity crowd are to see Kraftwerk, Elbow, more

All the tickets have been snapped but for the event which is set to headlined by Massive Attack, Kraftwerk and Elbow.

Speaking about the news, organiser Rob da Bank said, “I’m quite speechless selling out 8 weeks before Bestival actually fires off into Space. It’s testament to our amazing and very loyal crowd that we've achieved this in a tricky old year for festies, so roll on September and thanks for selling us out.”

As previously reported the fancy dress theme will be Outer Space and it will include Blastival, a fiery spectacle that blends pyrotechnical pleasures with street theatre.

Bestival 2009 will take place at Robin Hill Country Park, Newport on the Isle Of Wight from 11-13 September.
