Doves, The Cribs and Biffy Clyro have been confirmed as headliners for this year's White Air Festival.

White Lies, British Sea Power, Natty and The Boxer Rebellion have also been announced for the festival which this year has moved to Madeira Drive, Brighton.

The event will also feature three days of extreme sports to compliment the two nights of music with world high diving displays, windsurfing, thundercats, jet skis, martial arts, scuba diving and more.

Speaking about the event, a festival spokesperson said: “The festival is now in its 12th year and has gone from strength to strength, although the Isle of Wight was a superb setting for the festival in its early years; Brighton Beach compliments the ethos of the festival perfectly and we’re confident that with this setting, our top rate line-up, and over 40 extreme sports that we’re set to put on one hell of a festival, so take advantage of our Early Bird Weekender tickets available now.”

White Air Festival 2009 will take place on Brighton Beach from 18-20 September.

Early bird tickets are on sale now priced at £60 for the weekend with students and under 16’s paying just £55.
