Glastonbury Festival kicks off. It rains...
Over 90,000 ticket holders make it on site on Wednesday

25 June 2009
The usual haunts were the busiest, with Brothers cider bar and the Stone Circle attracting hundreds of early arrivals, despite
long tailbacks to get on site.
True to form festival-goers were greeted with a Thursday morning rain shower before
the weather brightened up to cloudy but humid sunny intervals.
The music kicks off today (25 June)
with the Queens Head hosting the likes of Maximo Park, Golden Silvers, Liz Green
and Ebony Bones.
