The second edition of the event has sold out 5 weeks before Lulworth Castle opens its gates. Little sister
of Rob da Bank’s visionary Bestival, Camp
Bestival 2009 has proven that size doesn’t matter when it comes to shifting tickets.
An ecstatic
Rob da Bank comments, “Wow, we sold out! Big up respect to all the mums, dads, kiddywinkles, rebellious teens and
hangers on that got a ticket and thanks for supporting the Camp Bestival massive. From PJ Harvey's only UK solo show to
Bon Iver, Mercury Rev, Chic and Tinchy Stryder the music is all over the shop in a good way and bung in SpongeBob, River Cottage,
National Ballet and Mr Tumble and we've hit on a weird but surprisingly attractive formula. See you next month!”
Featuring an impressive kids garden as well as acts old and new, including Hayseed Dixie, Kid Creole And The
Coconuts and Florence And The Machine the festival is once again set to be a small force to reckoned
with.
There are still a limited number of weekend and day tickets available for the event, which takes place at
Lulworth Castle, Dorset, from 24-26 July. Adult weekend tickets are priced at £100,
with day tickets available from £45. Kids and family day tickets (non-camping) are also still available.
