T In The Park announces Fancy Dress Friday

T In The Park organisers have announced Fancy Dress Friday will return at this year's festival.
The T Lady will be onsite to looking for the funniest, most inspired costumes on the day to hand out four VIP passes to T In The Park 2010.
Organisers will also be throwing a party in The Silent Disco on the Friday from 1-5pm for everybody getting involved as they try and find the best costumes on show.
The Healthy T area of the festival will also return for 2009 with more crammed in then ever before. Tasty outlets including the award winning Food from Argyll (Excellence Award at the 2009 Scot:Land of Food & Drink Awards), old favourites such as Stoats Porridge Oats, Mutley's Crêpes and J's Jackets and Stovies plus exotic and global fare from Japanese noodle bar Now and Zen and Johnny Baghdad's Falafels.
T in the Parkers can leave their shoes at the door and enjoy a sit-down slap-up three course meal in the sumptuous fresh sushi restaurant housed in a gorgeous yurt. Fire in the Hole will put fire in the belly with their wood-fired artisan pizzas and James Mackie Fruit and the Smoothie Shack are on hand to make sure punters are getting their fruit and veg 5-a-day.
There will also be a Village Disco taking requests and keeping fans entertained with games of musical statues. There will also be Gram Parsons inspired choir The Parsonage who will perform their country and western take on modern classics; the Flyin’ Jalepenos break dancing crew; and live graffiti by one of Scotland’s most respected and talented spray can artists Gaz Mac.
Healthy T DJs will also play all weekend and Fair Trade festival favourites Chai Chapel will be on hand to provide piping hot chai, hand blended incense, tribal instruments and free drumming and dancing workshops. And for festival goers needing further relaxing, they can pop to the Bedouin Tent for a range of treatments including neck and shoulder massage, reiki and reflexology.
All food on the menu in Healthy T is created with the very best in Scottish produce and meets the government’s healthy eating criteria. In addition to the Main Arena area there is a Healthy T shop in the campsite providing fresh and wholesome fare and the Healthy T fruity models will be circulating around the main arena pointing people in the direction of T in the Park’s chill out haven and giving away free fruit and sample sized healthy snacks.
T In The Park 2009 will take place at Balado, Kinross-shire, Scotland from 10-12 July.
