Art attack - loads announced for Latitude

St Etienne and The Temper Trap will join the likes of The Gossip, Bat
For Lashes, Squeeze and more in the Uncut Arena, while Kap Bambino will play Sunrise
Arena alongside Passion Pit and Little Boots.
Frank Skinner,
Grace Maxwell and Edwyn Collins have been added to the Literary Arena as well as Punk Fiction
with Cathi Unsworth, Nicholas Hogg, Janine Bullman, Salena Godden,
Dev Hynes and Lee Bullman.
Lee Mack, Stephen Grant,
Rob Rouse, John Gordillo and Kerry Godliman have all been confirmed for
the Comedy Arena, while the Cabaret Arena will introduce The Whoopee Club, Ima Doll, Fancy
Chance, Ekat, Beaux Belles, Russella, The Two Wrongies,
Miss Lady G Luck, Simon Deville and Des O’Connor.
The
Film And Music arena has added Future Cinema Presents Black Cat White Cat with Taraf de Haidouks, Noise Of Art presents ‘Love
Bites The Dance Of The Vampires, Vashti Bunyan: From Here to Before with Kieran Evans, Adem & Friends, Jeremy Deller,
Jeremy Warmsley, One eskimO, London Short Film Festival, Night Of The Living Dead and 3D.
Pet Shop Boys,
Grace Jones and Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds will headline the festival with many more also
confirmed.

Latitude 2009 will take place
at Southwold, Suffolk from 16-19 July.
Tickets are on sale priced at £150
plus booking fee including camping and car park fees. Day passes are available for £60 before booking
fee.
