AGreenerFestival to plant a Festival Wood
Donations welcome as bosses aim to fill a five-acre plot

01 June 2009
The wood will be a mixture of native deciduous trees that A Greener Festival bosses are hoping will be colonised
by wild birds, mammals and insects, but they stress that it isn’t an offsetting scheme and they still encourage using
public transport, lift sharing, cycling and walking to reduce environmental footprints.
If you’re going to
a festival and you’d like to make a donation, you can in the following ways:
TEXT 'FESTIVAL'
or 'festival' TO 82540 and you will plant a tree - £3 will be donated.
TEXT 'GREENER' or 'greener' to 82540 and you will plant two trees - this will
cost you £5.
The money you donate will be deducted from your phone - it's called
reverse billing.
You can also send a cheque payable to 'A Greener Festival Ltd' and post
to 8 Henley Prior, Collier Street, London N1 9JU. A Greener Festival are a formally constituted 'not
for profit' company and everything helps.
