Far from keeping things on the down low, Lowlands is still churning out the additions to its line-up.
The British electro kings and Us post-hardcore outfit are to be joined in Holland by a wealth of home grown talent
in the shape of De Staat, Destine and Elle Bandita.
Dutch talent will indeed
be in abundance at the weekender with Fakkelbrigade, Winne and Jiggy Djé announced
to head up the local hip-hop and rap contingent.
More announcements have been made on the international front
too with latinos Grupo Fantasma and the exotic Bomba Estereo confirmed. The three sisters
of Swedish acoustic punk outfit Baskery complete todays (28 May) additions.
Lowlands, a runner
up for the Best European Festival 2008 at the UK Festival Awards, is set to be headlined
by the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, The Prodigy, Grace Jones and Arctic Monkeys.
Lily Allen, Faith No More, Basement Jaxx and Tiga
will also be among the bill toppers as will Bloc Party, Boys Noize and many many more.
