Oxegen's New Bands Stage line-up revealed
Little Boots, The Maccabees and more confirmed

Distiller's frontwoman, Brody Dalle's new band Spinnerette,
New British pop sensation Little Boots and indie outfit
The Maccabees will be among the New Bands bill-toppers
on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Joining Spinerette on 10 July
are Sydney favourites Howling Bells, hotly tipped grunge
act Dinosaur Pile-up and Mumford & Sons as well as Priscilla Ahn, O Emperor
and Truffle Shuffle. The Hours were also previously announced.
On the Saturday
(11 July) alongside Little Boots punters
will get the chance to check out The Airborne Toxic Event, innovative singer-songwriter Patrick Wolf,
US electro outfit Passion Pit and new wave four piece Hockey.
Also confirmed
alongside those four are rising Aussie stars Sneaky Soundsystem, Go Audio, Magistrates, In Case Of Fire and
Will and the People.
The Sunday (12 July) will see The Twang take up the headlining duties with their ever more infamous live show.
They are set to be joined by previosuly confirmed
Irish singer Wallis Bird, Camera Obscura, The Virgins and rock outfit Wild Beasts.
Also
helping see out the weekend will be Bombay Bicycle Club, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, The Chapters.
As actional unfolds on the New Bands Stage the main arenas will be welcoming headliners Blur, Kings Of Leon and The Killers as well as the likes of Snow Patrol, Elbow, Bloc Party, 2 Many DJs and many many more.

Oxegen 2009
will take place at Punchestown Racecourse, County Kildare from 10-12 July.
Tickets
to the festival which was voted Best European Festival of 2008 at the UK Festival Awards
are on sale now priced at €224.50 (including booking fee).
