Gary Numan among latest names for Lovebox
Chairlift, Bombay Bicycle Club, more for UK's Best Medium

Chairlift, whose music appeared in an iPod advert, have also been announced for the London event, which
picked up Best Medium Festival at the UK Festival Awards last year, along with Bombay Bicycle Club, Frankmusik
and DJ Mujava.
Rizla Invisible Players
will present David Shirgley, Jazzie B and Gruff Rhys over the
weekend with more to be announced, while Magistrates, Au Revoir Simone and Datarock
have also be confirmed.
Fontan, Alan Pownall and Ben Howard
wrap up the acts announced today who join headliners Duran Duran and Groove Armada as well
as N*E*R*D, Simian Mobile Disco, Friendly Fires and more.

Lovebox Weekender 2009 will take place
at Victoria Park, Hackney in London from 18-19 July.

priced at £75 (plus booking fee) for a weekend pass and £42.50 (plus booking
fee) per day ticket.

Lovebox will have seven stages of music with dance, funk,
soul, reggae, indie, world and pop all sharing the diverse line-up
Alternative entertainment comes in the shape
of workshops, yoga, Tai Chi, a flying circus and other side attractions. Onsite there are plenty of food and drink concessions
and even a fun fair.
The festival is a non-camping affair which gives revellers the opportunity to catch some kip
in a decent bed.
The site is open each day runs from about 10am - 10pm.
