Download camping tickets sell out
Line-up announced for a new fourth stage

Festival bosses have announced that RIP Park Farm packages, including tipis and shacks, and all combined coach travel and
camping passes have been snapped up with only a limited number of RIP ‘Platinum’ hotel packages available.
For the first time in its history, the festival will expand to four stages with the likes of My Passion,
Dissolved In, This City, Twin Atlantic and Linchpin among
the names for Red Bull Bedroom Jam arena.
Fall From Grace, Don Bronco,
None The Less, Young Guns and First Strike will also play the fourth stage
along with the previously announced We Are The Ocean, White Man Kamikaze and Auger
Bane.
As reported yesterday (Tuesday), Red Bull Bedroom Jam are also running a competition
for one act to play the main stage before Marilyn Manson being beamed live from their bedroom. Click

In other news, Rock Radio are set to power this year’s
Download Radio which will be broadcasting throughout the weekend. The station will be activated from 9am Wednesday
10 June through to 12pm Monday 15 June, and available through the local frequency of 87.7FM.
Rock Radio Station Manager, Ciaran O’Toole said, “Since the launch of 96.3 Rock Radio,
one of our ambitions has been to team up with a major festival and the Download festival is the best in Britain. We’re
delighted to be working with them to make Download 2009 one of the best yet.”
Lancashire Constabulary
have also released their initiatives to make the 2009 event as safe as possible. For the third year in a row, the police will
be using a text messaging and email service aimed at gathering crime prevention information from people coming along this
year. The service was launched to encourage festival-goers to give the police information about crime related matters in advance
of the event.

Download Festival 2009 will
take place at Donington Park, Castle Donington from 12-14 June with Faith No More,
Slipknot and Def Leppard set to headline.
