Portland band reveals summer plans exclusively to VF

Hockey are set to play Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds, Virtual Festivals can officially reveal.

The Portland based band spoke to us before their headline show at Audio on Saturday (16 May), announcing that they are set to play all the big events this summer.

When asked what UK festivals they have coming up in the summer, guitarist Brian White said: “We’ve got a lot coming up, we’re playing nearly all the major festivals.”

We then asked if they are doing Glastonbury and Reading, to which White replied: “Yeah and T In The Park and Oxegen.”

Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young are set to headline Glastonbury Festival 2009 which take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton from 24-28 June.

Reading Festival 2009 and Leeds Festival 2009 will both be headlined by Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Kings Of Leon.

Tickets for both festivals have sold out.
