Corey Taylor to play solo show at Sonisphere
Bohemia Stage announced, more exclusives confirmed

The singer, who also fronts Stone Sour, will play the Bohemia Stage – a village that
mixes Moulin Rouge with Mad Max - along with Dirty Little Rabbits, who a re also set to play the UK
for the first time.
Speaking about his appearance Taylor said: “I’m very excited to be a part of
this festival. It’ll be the first show of its kind I’ve ever done in the UK, and I think there are many fans who’ve
waited long enough to see it.
“It’s one of the greatest joys in the world to me [playing acoustic]
and I cannot wait to get over there and share that with the fans.”
Bohemia, which will be located between
the campsite and the main area, will kick off on Thursday afternoon to all ticket holders.
The arena will also
feature performances from The Chapman Family, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Fighting With Wire,
Rolo Tomassi, Twin Atlantic, Attack! Attack! and Cancer Bats.
Festival bosses have also confirmed that there will be six hours of comedy over the weekend hosted by Lou
Saffire. The first names revealed include Gary Delaney, Sean Percival, Sully
O’Sullivan, Andrew O’Neil, Craig Campbell, Jason John Whitehead
and Markus Birdman as well as Duncan Oakley, Woody Bop Muddy and Ivan
Brackenbury.

Metallica and Linkin Park will headline Sonisphere 2009 which will take place at Knebworth House from 1-2
August.
Weekend camping tickets are on sale now priced at £157.50 (plus booking
fee).
Other options available include a two-day pass without camping (£132.50), family camping
tickets and coach options too.
