Jarvis Cocker to headline Green Man Festival
Fence Collective, Noah And The Whale and more

The former-Pulp frontman will top the bill on the Saturday (22 August) night joining Animal Collective who will top the line-up on the Friday (21 August) and festival closers Wilco.
Other names confirmed today include Noah And
The Whale, Emmy The Great and rising folk star Blue Roses have also been confirmed
for the Welsh festival along with Broken Records and Dent May And His Magnificent Ukulele.
Organisers have also announced Fence Collective who will present Rozi Plain, The
Three Craws and Pictich Trail during the festival. James Yuill, JC Carroll,
Magic Arm and The Aliens will also appear in Wales come August.
Swanton Bombs,
The Aliens, The Fuzzbirds and Trembling Bells have also been confirmed
as well as Zun Zun Egui.
Today’s confirmations join a swelling line-up for the festival.

Tickets are on sale now with organisers announcing a special 'Holiday Ticket' this year, which allows festival-goers
to extend their stay for a further three-days and make the event a holiday as well as a festival for just an extra £30.
The other ticket prices are as follows:
£115 – adult weekend
£99
– student weekend
£50 – Teen (13-17 years)

Green
Man Festival 2009 will take place at Glanusk Park, Brecon Beacons in Wales from 21-23
August.
The festival will also feature art installations, literature and film tents, Welsh poetry, art
and music, ceilidhs, theatre, science, comedy, Nature and Nurture massage area, a daily dusk till dawn bonfire and impromptu
jamming sessions
Organisers have also announced the first of many new hidden surprises: Einstein's Garden,
which will introduce thought provoking green issues in a fun and informative way.
There will also be plenty on
offer for families with an extended children’s area which will have more workshops, entertainment and much more.
