Faith No More to play Reading and Leeds

Reformed rockers announce dates on website

The recently reformed Faith No More have announced on their website that they are playing this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Mike Patton and Co will play at Reading on the Friday (28 August) before making the long trip up the M1 to perform on the Sunday (30 August) in Leeds.

The website does not say which stage the band will be appearing on and nothing has been officially confirmed by organisers.

Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead and Kings Of Leon will headline the festivals, with many more acts to be announced in the coming months.

Reading Festival 2009 will take place at Little Johns Farm, Reading, while Leeds Festival 2009 is set to be held at Branham Park, Leeds.

Both run from 28-30 August and share the same line-up.

Tickets for both festivals have sold out.
